Hey! Welcome back Rask!!!! How's everything been going?

I guess about the only thing you've missed is everybody starting to write stories, and a butt load of spam on the boards. Other than that, I don't guess much is new... but don't quote me on that, as I've been quite preoccupied here lately.

Hell yeah, welcome back!
Make it through boot camp ok?
And yeah, Akira was already good, but he's getting better with every post, when he doesn't hurt himself.

BCT was really, really easy.

Then again, I don't stress out over little things (like doing a lot of physical exercise because somebody got in trouble) and I'm smart enough to keep myself out of trouble most of the time.

Right now, I'm just trying to lay low and enjoy my time with my friends and family before I head off to AIT.

Having been A.F., I am not sure if this is right, but isn't A.I.T., Advanced Infantry Training? Where are they sending you for that?

Could be. I thought the Army recruiter had told me that.

Edit: I looked it up and there are dozens of Military acronyms with AIT. Both of ours are in there though. I'm guessing yours is probably the one.

Yeah, the military is chock full of acronyms. I had just never heard Advanced Individual Training before. That's actually pretty cool. I like to think that all of us are in Advanced Individual Training in our own way! :)

Rask! Yer back!

You didn't really miss much. The only thing that comes to mind is that 'jitsu did well on his...school-thing (HSC? Is that right?). And I didn't mention this yet (no point starting a whole new thread), but I got accepted for advanced early admission into University.

Hey man, it's so good to hear from you again! How long do you have off, and what are you doing with yourself?

A "technical" MOS?

I report to my school on the 2nd, so not terribly long.

I'm lucky, though, because time off between Basic Training and AIT isn't normally something a trainee gets. My school is really long, too so I'm very thankful to be getting this time with my family and friends.

[QUOTE=PonyOne]Probably nothing compared to boot camp, though, so I shouldn't complain.

You'd be really surprised how easy Basic Training is so long as you're in half-decent shape and are smart enough to listen to what the Drill Sergeants tell you.

Granted, it sucks to be away from everybody and everything you love, but you suck it up and it's over before you know it.

Hey! I'm back too. Good to see you back around, I've been super busy. Hope all the old boys are still here.

Glad to see you made it through basic training. Good luck with the AIT.

Damn Joe, been a long time! We may have lost a few regulars, but I'm sure you'll see plenty of familiar names still around.
