Been a while since I checked out the recordings, cool to see yourself and Akira back to form. Great piece my man, well done. You might be able to improve the tone of what you have by adding some compression and EQ to the lead parts to thicken them out. I posted a link of some good free VST's in the recording forum that could help. No complaints about the playing on this one, nicely thought out from start to finish. You use your EBMM on this one? Was the guitar DI or did you mic up an amp? Just curious. Anyway, good job!

Thanks man :) yep I used my EBMM... the guitar went dir into my Boss DR-880 drum machine it has guitar patches in it... basicaly the drum machine is for guitarists it has some effects that come with the Boss GT-6 I am going to in the near future record the track again with my Marshall amp (MG 100-HDFX and Marshall 1932 2x 12 stereo speaker) it has speaker emulated out so I can go dir into my Tascam US-224 recording desk but only prob with that is it only comes out left or right side... anyway glad you liked my tune thanks for listening :) I will have more tunes coming soon :)

Re the live tracking coming out either left or right, I take it that is because you are correctly recording them in mono. To get around this select 'monitor on' in whatever recording software you are using (eg Cubase or Reaper etc). This allows you to hear the part as it is recorded with the post effects and panning you want turned on BUT the part is recorded clean without any of these effects in place. I always go this way as it gets hard to concentrate on what you are recording if you can only hear it in one ear or if it needs some reverb to give it a unique voice among a load of other tracks. Hope that makes sense and/or helps!

Sounds good Billy. I dig it, nice melodies and catchy!
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.
