Seriously, you will save yourself years of wasted time if you forget trying to play fast when you start out and focus on playing perfectly at a pace that is comfortable for you. Speed comes gradually from there, just stick with it and you will get there.

this is entirely true i just realized this, before i figured if i keep practicing something fast eventually it will get neater but it dosent so if you practice something slowly and accurately it will eventually get faster
