Try out a Peavey Valveking if you can. It has a very nice clean channel that some have said is reminiscent of a Fender clean. And, with 50 tube watts, you'll have plenty of clean headroom. I put an Eminence Wizard speaker in mine, and it really opened it up. It has a nice and versatile overdrive channel too, if you need it.
