18 today eh? If you were over in the UK you'd be legally able to drink beer (having been doing so illegally for approx. 3 years!)....

As you're not, I guess I'll just have to have a brew on your behalf!

Happy Birthday Dude.... :D

Thanks guys, will be going out friday night with my friends to officially break in 18 (if you know what that means :) .) As far as drinking, my brother is my supplier :D , though, thats not the same as going out to a bar.

Alas, my b-day cyber kiss from Tonja.

Happy birthday dude!
18 eh? No legal alcohol yet, but you get all sorts of other great perks! You get to go to the big boy jail when convicted, you get to sign up for the military draft, you can vote for your favorite crooked politician, and you can throw away some money on lottery tickets! Sweet I know.

If you were Canadian like me, you'd be getting wasted legally right now.

......but illegally is good too!

Happy birthday, pancho!

I think 19 is legal drinking age in Paraguay. Don't ask me how I know that. Especially because I might be making up facts again to cover up my lack of real knowledge. :)

Sign up for the Army, thats a good one. As far as lottery tickets, last time I checked I was up $100ish. I buy the scratch off ones every now and then (convienience stores round here usually don't card) and I usually win my money back or more. The most I ever one was $150, shhwing!

I'm not saying being eligible for volunteering for the Army is a bad thing (quite the opposite) if that's how it seemed. Just the draft in particular, which 18 year olds must register for. We've probably seen the last of the draft anyways, considering the Vietnam era response, unless the most dire situation arises. I dunno...I can see both sides but governmental mandated military service just makes me kind of uncomfortable.
