Anybody played one of these, or heard anything about them? I'm getting one for my birthday, and I just wanted to know what you guys thought.

Yeah, that is my absolute dream guitar  - but knowing my parents, I'm more likely to be getting something like an EC-100QM.

well, I think that'll probably be an awesome guitar as well..I treid a few of the lower range Esp Ltd's a while back, and was impressed with what I found.

I tried a Viper100fm, and it was a great guitar for the price. That was in London, unfortunately, in SouthAfrica, the distributers are trying to play Schecter and Esp as some really nice boutique custom shop stuff, and so the prices for all Schecters and Esp/Ltd's are ridiculously high

I don't know if I'd get an Eclipse or not... They seem like pretty nice guitars and of course they're way cheaper than any Gibson single cut and better made than the Epi's.... If I were to get a single cut that wasn't a Gibson I'd get a PRS.... since I don't have that much money I'd then be looking at an ESP single cut... Probably the Truckster... James Hettfields signature model... That guitar looks pretty killer.

for the price of an Esp Truckster, (never seen an LTD one) you'd be able to afford a Gibson Les Paul, atleast the Studio, over here...that said, the Esp Truckster is, in my opinion, a better guitar than a Gibson Les Paul Studio ...and possibly a standard
