New Splawn Quickrod clip..
# 1
Awesome! I've been dying to get my hands on a Splawn! Have you played any of the other Splawn models? Just wondering how they all compare with each other. Amazing tone you've got there. What cab and speakers were used, and what mic?

Thanks PRSplaya,i have only played the Quickrod but i have listened to plenty of clips of the other models and they all sound good to me.The cab was a Marshall 1960A 4x12 with G12T-75s.The mic was an Audio Technica ATM41a. :)

Cool, thanks for the info! Was there much post processing on the guitar tone? and EQ'ing and such after it was recorded?

I used chorus on the guitars from sonar 6 producer,a guy on another forum basically said that was cheating(like pros dont use effects eh!)so i did a mix without chorus and it was still a huge sound,i did not use any extra EQ at all that was straight out of the amp.. :)

Nice production and mix. You got a real nice vibrato.
