Randy Rhoads Rig

Does anyone think that Randy Rhoads would of updated his equipement such as his amp and effects as newer stuff came out or he would of kept his same rig? Here was his rig when he was in ozzy.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. :D I'm sure he probably would've picked up some new toys here and there. Too bad we'll never know.

i think most of the stuff he had then (i.e. the pic above) was new at the time...not too vintage looking...i think he would probably have a mesa or marshall with major amounts rackmount stuff now---- :cool:

He was cutting edge at the time so if he was still around I'm sure he would have kept evolving his tone to the point that his rig would be about the same size as Petrucci's. Actually, his tone is pretty dated now and not that impressive but his music is still amazing (one of my favourite players), imagine what he would have sounded like through a modern rig...
