ok ! i'm not such a great guitar player and since listening to some of the amazing pieces of music on here , i have gone even further down the toilet in my own estimation .
nevertheless , i am not easily embarassed :o and can take critiscism well !

this is quite a short piece called 'funky sprout necklace' , its nothing amazing , but its kind of fun !

please enjoy - if possible ! :)

sounds great & groove is very cool, solo(on my setup is silent & lost in mix) starting well but then it lost conception & sounds like improvize...
overall sounds cool & funky, keep on move it...

Nothing to be embarrassed about here! The mix is a little on the treble side, so it lacks a bit of punch, but I really liked the groove. The solo starts off really good, great tone and good phrases, but like Ian says, it then gets a bit off track and loses focus. But a really good listen, very promising & hope there's more to come?
Can you play "Far Far Away?"

Yes - how far would you like?

yeah, its walking around one groove-beat & it really needs to change & more to come new ideas...
like debut - middle part - chorus - end... or more difficult structure
overall i like this groove & your ideas ... & start of solo of course)))

That was a really cool track. I have really been digging funky types of music like that here lately.

very unique. i liked it. however, the bass and drums are too busy to be kept as a single unit like that the entire song.work for a little bit of a break, possibly at the guitar solo...put more emphasis on the groove between the guitar and drums rather than the bass and drums at that part. beleive me, im a big fan of one-progression songs (i played in a dub/reggae/ska/jazz jamband where some of our songs where just one bassline essentially repeated over and over again) but it does need to move somewhere. doesnt need to be big, just enough to put something fresh up for 20 seconds or so.

wow - thanks for the reponse dudes !

i will be attempting to improve myself but time isn't really available , so i will have to remain mediocre ! lol

the lead guitar part was an afterthought and it was improvised !
i dont usually try to construct anything formal in lead parts as i find that its possible to come up with some unusual stuff -sometimes !

i'm not really sure what to try to do with it next - no time - i guess i could try to develop it somehow but it was just something to try to make brussels sprouts seem cool ! lol

thanks for listening - much appreciated !

afraid to have to say , its all i do !
just sitting at home messing around with my bag of tricks ! lol

not much in there really , so i invent stupid names for the songs which usually takes longer to do than the tracks themselves !!! lol
