Who do you think has been or who would be the best 007
Pierce Brosnan for me

I've have to go with Connery as well, my dad's a big bond fan and usually watches the marathon they have every year (forget who does it.) Brosnan did a decent job, but I think the guy who plays in the new one might surpass him.

The Bond movies are based on a book series, and supposedly the literary Bond was a little different than portrayed, like he smoked cigs and wasn't strikingly handsome, but more so in rugged kind of way. But after the author saw Connery's take on him he was so impressed he slightly changed his characteristics a little to align with him. That's what I heard today anyway on the radio...I haven't ever read the books myself.

Brosnan is my favourite Bond, and Moore is cool as well. I'm sorry :o , but I could never really take Connery seriously for some reason. He seemed a bit hammy to me, even for a series of hammy (albeit in a great way) movies!

For life is quite absurd and death's the final word, You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

I personally liked Roger Moore the best. All the other Bonds pale in comparison.

I think James Bond was supposed to be permanently in his thirties ?

I was impressed by Sean Connnery and Roger Moore who carried off the part in their forties and fifties

Sean Connery, although from what I've seen so far Daniel Craig may well give him a run for his money.

The worst for me is Roger Moore. I've always found his acting somewhat wooden.
