It looks like I'm going on a holiday to Vietnam at the end of the year! I'll be there for two weeks, and I'll be flying Vietnam Airlines, which, as my dad puts it, "has a reputation for abruptly falling out of the sky"!

Anyway, with travel on my mind, I was wondering whether any of you guys had interesting overseas travel stories to share. If so, post 'em here!

One of my friends had his passport stolen in Kuala lumpur. Now that was an ordeal.
Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.

I remeber a members story about him getting drunk in some middle eastern place and having a drunk taxi driver drive him home, and he bailed out of the car shortly after.

Middle East? I thought it was Ecuador.

I've never been overseas, which actually depresses me quite a lot when I think of it. Thanks a lot, Ben. :(

Seriously though, that's gonna be a great trip. I'm happy for you.
