Wow...am i ever feeling unstable today. I'm writing a huge essay, and i just can't think. I'm freaking out cause the phone keeps ringing, so i unplug every one and just walk around the house for an hour. I'm feeling really nervous and edgy for no reason. AHHH...what's wrong with me?

Uhm... You are human?

I feel like that all the time, man. We just have those days, that's all. If the essay is due soon, ask your teacher whether you can have a short extension or something, because you're feeling a bit out of it. Don't worry about it, mate - it'll pass :).

That's just life man, welcome to the human race! I go through the same nonsense many times as well. It's pressure and stress and anxiety and all those wonderful little emotional pixies that kick us in the head from time to time.

Relax and remember that you'll be fine.

And I third the beer idea! Always works for me. :)

If you can overcome any issues with your masculinity, you might try starting Yoga and/or meditation. Even just a 10-20 minute "timeout" doing either can do wonders for stress. Or you might even take it the other direction and go aggressive...like lifting weights, push-ups, or punching bag. Personally I go with meditation and circular breathing when stressed. Circular breathing is deep slow breaths in through the nose, out the mouth, but with no pauses in between.

Uh-oh.....the stress has given him multiple personality disorder. Ninja, will you kindly escort Mr. Cableguy to the shock treatment room?
