i would like to know everyones thoughts on this.

ok well myself and my band are recording a cd for the school im not sure why,but we are..anyway we are the ones that have to try and sell our own cd to make money of it any idea's on the best way of selling it cause i think we can sell them all just asking if any ones got some ideas to help out a bit????...thanks heaps!

Organise a concert during lunch or somethin and have all the bands in the school play. They do that in my school but its usually full of Nirvana wannabe bands. I christened it Nirvanafest. The name stuck. Im proud of myself.

You can organise a concert with your band
(and more bands if you want), and then you can try to
sell them cheap when the concert is over.
At least that worked for me.
I dont think you will be instant rich that way,
(well I wasnt anyway)
but more people will know who you are and what you sound like, and then probably go to more of your concerts.
One thing that is nice about doing this, is that it feels
damn good when somebody is willing to spend money on your music.
If you want to be instant rich and famous, I suggest taking
the record to a record-company.

i suggest u make some hard ass crazy fricken good songs that the band has poured there heart into and play free concerts for people so they get to know u, then when people see how good your stuff is, charge them too see u play, and trust me, they will pay for what they like.
