As the post reads, she was in a car accident. Some ***hole rear ended her doing at least 30 when she was at a complete stand still. That pisses me off and saddens me. I can't help her whatsoever and I feel very bad about it. I love her very much, and just wish I could do more than just talk to her. Shes physically ok, neck brace though, but she'll make it through. Not trying to complain guys, I just need to vent a little bit, thanks to anybody who reads this..its appreciated.

Bud, that sucks. Glad to hear she's alright.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Hopefully she'll be fine. Look, I adjust claims for a living and I can tell you, she's got herself a good claim there. Tell her not to sign anything from the insurance company until she's done treating for her injuries. They may ask her for a medical authorization so they can get the records from her treating physicians...etc. That's okay. But DO NOT sign a release until she's ready to end the claim.

She should be able to collect for:

1) Property damage (assuming that it was her car she was in when she was hit)

2) Lost wages

3) Pain and suffering.

Not sure about the medical bills as I am not up on my Missouri law. Either her carrier will pay her medical bills (Under a NO-FAULT statute) or she can send them into the tort-feasors carrier for them to pay. I am sure that her insurance company can advise her in that regard. Make sure that she keeps records of all of her co-pays and RX payments too. She'll want to be able to submit them to the tort-feasors carrier.

Good luck - hope all works out well.

Hope your girlfriend's doing all right. Good luck with the insurance and all. :)
You go outside and practice screaming. We'll play music while you're gone.
