No,not all fender guitars are good, like any guitar company they make their fair share of lemons...you gotta try out the exact guitar you buy...one Usa strat could be very different to another Usa strat.

also that Roland amp, sounds like its a Cube? I dunno what the dollar price for those is, but it sounds like reasonable price...they're really nice lil practice amps.

you shud go for feel when looking for a guitar....fretboard size, to see if your hands feel comfortable with the fretboard or not...also the tone and stuff...as a first time buyer, its hard to know what kind of sound you're looking for...just try to go for the best for you...ive got a friend that has a roland 10 watt solid state...i personally dont like it...but if its a practise amp you want, then go ahead...a good beginner's amp i guess...its just that i feel the gain isnt really good...maybe cos its a 10 watt solid state but i dont know for sure...

2 cents

tube amps are better...better in sound and whatnot...maintenance is also a thing...as a beginner i wud sugget a normal solid state amp...amps can sound reaaaaally high...but its the tone that u wud be looking for..but as a beginner, i wudn be too fussy abt sound and stuff..just go with what u think sounds great..that u like...maybe do some research if you want...depends on how serious you are and stuff..im no good when it comes to electric stuff...but i can put myself in ur situation as well before...tube amps are more expensive....if u want a normal standard of practising, go for the 10 watt roland...when u get more serious, you can always get a better amp...

depends where you're using it. I use a 6w amp in the house, and it's plenty loud enough. I've used a roland microcube - that would do you fine as a practice amp, and has effects built in....

If you're going to play in your bedroom or whatever, you don't want a 100w stack!

I think you are missing a zero their mate though it depends upon whether the guitar was built and assembled in the USA.

I have three, a Mexican strat, a Tex mex and and a "made in the USA" strat.

They are all nice.

it would really depend on the guitar u wanna get. There's really two types of electric guitars,a stratstyle 1 and a les paul style 1. If u like the straat and ur beginning i suggest the fender highway 1 strat. its alittle expensive though. 4 the amp just use like any crate, vox, o hertke amp. that is a pretty good deal 4 the microcube amp though really just see which 1 u like the best and go with it.

that is probably one of the most incorrect things I've heard in a long time.
