I recomend, if your amp has a direct out, to get a 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor and plug your amp into your computer's sound card. Then record the solo and add the backing track as another layer. That is exactly what I did, and my recording quality came out perfect. The adaptor is no more than 6 to 8 bucks :D

The hardest part about this backing track, imo, is how not to make it sound boring. Honestly, when im listening to my solo, half way through, i just get bored. Its a good BT, but very hard to work with. :o
