Growing up in a house with my grandfather (jazz pianist) and my dad (jazz guitarist, thought he plays all styles) and both supposedly amongst the best in Ireland, if not Europe, I got to know my good instruments from the not so good fairly early! My dad has so many guitars he has lost count, so I have a good choice to learn on.
I do like the Fender Strat , but I decided to start on Accoustic, plus my dad uses the Strat for gigs, so I can't borrow it. (He'd lend my the Byrdland over his dead body!)
