Most frustrating day ever.

Me and the keyboardist skipped last two classes to record with the bad. We miked up the drums and got ready to record. After 2-3 hours we had a full drum track for a song and were ready to start the guitars...

...Then the drummers brother accidentaly kicked out the power cord and, being digital, the whole track was ERASED.

There was a huge bitchfest between thw two, and it just spoiled the whole vibe. The guy's got huge anger management problems...and it all just sucked.

We recorded it again all pissed off, and didn't bother checking levels...the bass mic was moved and it turned out that it was clipping the whole time.

automatic power backup...you know you want to !

They are not that expensive either.

I used to use one with my D1600 which would also erase anything that wasn't saved properly.

Ok I know not all of us have specific spaces where to make music, sometimes we hang around basements, garage, mezzanines, anywhere, it;s almost intrusive.

But I have to say, get some privacy, the band and some handy tech it's OK, but visitors tend to be slopy around cables, conections, power cords, you drink over you amp, things like that.

The drummers brother... damn... stay behind the line cuz we are working here!!!.

You know what I mean, you know bout cables, you know your way around them, some people just don't know that, keep them away.
Power corrupts. Absolute power is kinda neat.

Laid down the rest of the guitar for the song...all is well. :)

Solo was first take and i liked it, so the first take was kept.
