Youthfest
Hey, I went to this 'first annual southwest youthfest' thing. A bunch of catholic schoolkids, basically. They said it was gonna be a nationwide thing, each city or state having their own. I'm curious - anyone else heard of this? I've never heard of it before this week, I dunno if it's something that's caught on elsewhere. And anybody that's in Sydney - I'm so going there '08, see you then! :D

i've heard of alot of youth festivals but not nationwide ones. at least not any for this week.

Lol, this wasn't a retreat. Just one day, we all got out of school. Lot's of catholic stuff, songs, mass w/ the bishop, etc... I dunno, it's supposed to be a miniature world youth day, like the one in Germany... Nevermind, I'm just rambling. Maybe it'll catch on other places, I hope so, I'm not even catholic and it was pretty tight.
