Hi All
This is my first post on this site. This song is dedicated to someone close to me. I was inspired to come up with this song (although I had some of the parts much earlier) ot soothe someone - to look at the brighter side of things regardless of having to say goodbye.

It's a lullaby, a soother for goodbyes.

The song starts slow but it has a few strong parts - a decent pair of speakers with the volume set to 7 would be nice. :)

Let me know what you think.
Cheers

Aptly titled I'd say. Kinda somber, but not quite sad. I liked the lead tone (and playing), but the background rythym chords were a little muffled...like it was playing in the room next door. Still, sounds good though.

Hmm. The backing track and the lead parts were using the same settings. I used predominantly fingerstyle picking for the backing track. Perhaps there was a little too much reverb. Everything was recorded on a MiM Strat, straight thru a Line6 Toneport UX2.

Thanks for checking it out.
Cheers
