Hi, sorry this has probably already been asked but me and some friends are performing this song at school and does anyone have any idea where i should set my eq. I know i should just fiddle but i just want a rough starting point. Thanks to any help

Well, the verses in Seven Nation Army have a really bass-y tone, while the chorus part has that biting treble-y tone. So if you have a guitar with 5-way pickup switching (like a strat), I would suggest turning the tone fairly low for the neck pickup and turning it around 6 or 7 for the bridge pickup, then just switch pickups when you move from chorus to verse or vice versa.
For the solo you're gonna need sustain, so if you have an additional distortion pedal, that would help.
And I believe Jack White plays the song in open A (or E, I forget) tuning with a slide.

Thanks. Yeah i did that with my les paul and it sounds fine. With the verse we decided to add in an octave part to fil it out a bit and the chorus part we're going to have some leads coz my brther started drummig to play that song. So we making it a lil more interesting coz he can't play the more complicated bits. Thanks for ya help
