Dudes
Any of you have any tips on some amp settings to get a good tone through an electric amp when playing an acoustic (apart from buying an acoustic amp) ie reverb, chorus, etc......
cheers

Don't turn the bass up too high, as this can cause unwanted feedback. A soundhole cover can help with this. Too much reverb can also cause feedback, so just use enough to add some ambience if needed. Use the treble and presence (if your amp has a presence control) to adjust the amount of crispness and sparkle of the guitar, and you'll probably want to back off the mids a little more than you would with an electric guitar. Too much mids from an electric guitar amp can make an acoustic amp sound honky and unnatural. Chorus can be a very nice addition to an acoustic guitar, so just set it to whatever sounds best. Also, make sure the gain is down very low, so you can get the cleanest signal possible.
