I'm using 1.10. So, could it be that it's too thin? It sticks to the strings most of the time when I play (alternate picking of course) a bit faster (and it's not real shred 'cuz I can't shred fast enought), and I play western acoustic, the strings are thicker and I think they're also a bit harder than on classical guitar.
