wammy bar
i lost my freakin wammy bar. its been over a month that i last had it, and i dont know what hapened to it. i have a FR lisenced tremolo. is there a way to buy a new wammy bar? or am i just stuck sticking my fingers underneath the screws to get the tremolo effect(my frickin picking hand fingers are getting callusus worse than my fret hand fingers!!!!)? thanks for the info. :cool:

I dont reccomend sticking your hand under those screws... Im not a floyd pro by any streatch, but that can't be good.
hit up ebay. you can get some for cheap. your music store should have them too.

Just make sure you either know which bridge it is, or be able to describe how the bar conects to it - there are a fair few different types....

Good advice there, I had two guitars with FR trems, a Jackson and a Charvel, both had different trem systems and arms that were not interchangable. The exact model should be marked out on the top side of the trem beside the fine tuners or it could be underneath (involves taking off the strings to get a proper look. Ebay is your best bet then, you'll probably get one for less than 10 bucks.

Call the parts department of whoever manufactured the guitar and order a new one.
