Threat Signal

For fans of metal. They are from Ontario, so maybe some of ya'll Canadians know of them. I'm pretty sure they are a new band but their albm is produced by Christian Olde Wolbers from Fear Factory. Anyways, I've recently picked up the CD and its in heavy rotation now. Its got a lot of different types of metal influences in it. A lot of Meshuggah-like odd guitar rhythms and such. The lead guitarist has some sick skills too. So check them out.

I was expecting little more "math metal" as in Meshuggah, and lower tunning but they sound pretty tight, the vocal reminded me more like damageplan or something like it, nice choice for Christian to produce and it's cool to hear fresh stuff.

Not really my hit, but they are pretty good actually.

In retrospect, maybe my description was a litle more misleading. Im starting to think the music sounds more thrash-like as in Trivium with more hooky choruses. In any case, i think its a damn impressive debut album considering they don't have any EP's or demos that i am aware of.
