Been messing around with ZZ Top's Precious and Grace.

I sang this one.
I probably should throw this one out there for a vocal collaboration and chuck my vocals.
I disguised my voice behind distortions, reverbs, etc to make it sound like I meant to sing it that way.

Here's mix #1
Precious and Grace

Tone chain is my Tube pre amp
into the computer sound card
processed with Guitar rig 2.

Drums is Beatcraft
Recording/Mixing software is Mixcraft

Guitar is Ibanez JS1200CA

I'm glad to see a ZZ Top cover...I'm prolly one of their biggest fans around here!
But yeah, the vocals were a lil harsh. Even if you're not an excellent singer, the vocal effects tone/mix was the main culprit. But am I going to volunteer to sing it myself? No, haha, as I don't sing much, and am really not familiar with recording vocals well. The guitar tones sounded good though, especially the lead. And good playing too.

Thanks, I need to re-do a couple things when I get time.

I plan to re-record the vocals and have another go at the lead guitar ending.
