Help: Power Supply For FX550

Hi ,

I lost the power adapter of my Yamaha FX550.

Anyone knows the configuration?

- center negative or positive?
- Current rating?

I know it is 12V but need to know the above specs.

I'm sure you could find these details in the manual? or on the website for the product...? sorry I am of so little help.

I've checked the manual and it only says 12V. no other details of the electrical ratings.

This is a really solid piece of electronics and I hate to see it rot away because of this.

Get intouch with yamaha and see if they can send you another power adapor. You'll probably have to pay for it, but it would be better than wondering if you're powering the unit correctly or not.

I went to the Yamaha shop and when I asked for the power supply for the FX550, the reaction of the sales guy was , and I quote , " What is a FX550? "
