Anyone up for a bit of collaboration?

I'm throwing this version I recorded of the BB King tune, The Thrill is Gone, out on the web to get some good singers to lay down the vocals.

Anyone that is interested, just record your vocals over the backing track.
Then post a reply here with a link to a .mp3 somewhere on the web so I can download it and have a listen to the song with your vocals.
If I end up liking the vocals, I'll ask for a .wav file of just your vocals.
A 16 bit 44,100 khz .wav file is fine.
I'll add your vocals to my mix and create the final mix.

Thanks, hope to get some good stuff.

Here's the backing track
The Thrill is gone - backing track

There's different versions, here's the lyrics I would like used, if possible, or something close to this.
Feel free to add some personal style.
The lyrics

Signal chains:
The lead parts are my 18 watt Reverb Stout tube amp combo
into the Palmer PGA-04 speaker simulator
into the computer sound card
into Guitar Rig for effects

The background clean stuff is my AB763 combo
The guitar on the stuff above is my 80's Jap Strat

The background overdrive stuff is Guitar Rig and my Ibanez JS1200CA guitar

I'd love to do a collab with you on the guitar.... but my voice unfortunately would be likely to give you a middle ear infection...

Same here.

I layed down verse 1 just for the heck of it the other day and then listened to it.

That's why I'm looking for a vocalist. :)

I have two people so far, one sounds pretty good but I'm in no hurry.

I'll just bump this post up to page one every once in a while so it gets noticed.

Cool version. Has a funky feel to it kind of Moody Blues-ish. Wish I could sing but Dillon sounds like Pavarotti when compared to me.

The 69 single version BB did was in Bm but I needed more room above the 12th fret for some of the licks, so I changed the key down to Gm.

It's better in that it's not a copy of BB's (who can copy that anyway) and it has a way different feel than BB's versions.

I've got abour 6 people working on vocal tracks.
The more the merrier I say. :D

Sounds good, just make a nice clean .wav file track with vocals only.

I'll add it to the mix, add reverb ,etc on my end.

A Norweigan lady named True-eurt submited a vocal track and this is the mix of that colab.

The thrill is Gone - with True-eurt on vocals

Not too bad. I found it hard to understand anything she was saying other than "the thrill is gone", and the reverb on her voice just didn't seem to mesh well with it for some reason. Other than that, not bad at all.

I think it might just be the way she's singing that makes it hard for me to understand the words. The vocals also sound a bit too far back in the mix compared to the rest of the instruments. Not sure how to correct that though. Great mix though.
