Recently bought hte new 'score' dvd by dream theater and all i can say is buy it!

It's amazing. Owning all their official dvds (Budakon, Live scenes, 5 years, and Tokyo), i can say this is the best.

It covers songs from their whole career, even pre 'when day and dream unite'.

One thing i noticed was Jame's singing is almost immaculate, and imho, better than on any of the other dvd's.

The bonus dvd has a documentary of their whole career and some other fun stuff.

The real treat comes in the second set of the first disk, when they play with a full orchestra. They play all of Octavarium (the song), Metropolis, Vacant, Sacrificed Sons, and The Answer lies within, and the entire song (second cd) of Six Degrees.

The first set (minus orchestra) consists of
-The Root of all evil
-I walk beside you
-Another Won (1985)
-Afterlife (Weakest track by far)
-Under a Glass moon
-Innocence Faded
-Raise the knife
-The spirit Carries on

You also see Rudess play the continum on Octavarium.

Once again, this is a great buy. And the next best thing if you (like me :( ) Cant get to a show.

Even weaker than "I Walk Beside You"? Wow...

Sounds like a great buy overall, I'll keep an eye out for it.

At least I walk beside you is a decent pop song. They actually pull it off real well on the dvd.

zreynoldsp, if it's not even better than you expected, i will personally refund your money. :)
