Tendonitis can really suck, but the good thing is, it does get better. I was diagnosed with severe tendonitis in both of my shoulders several years ago. They still give me a bit of trouble here and there, but for the most part, they're fine now. I am however starting to develope it in my elbow now. I believe it is from a previous injury to it, and having to use my arm an awful lot at work without much support for my elbow. Sometimes I will have pains that go from where my shoulder meets my neck, all the way down into my wrist. I also think I'm starting to develope CTS in my hand as well :(
