Nice song structure as always and a good mix up with the electronics and live guitars. Only thing I would change so far is the guitar tone. Before the heavy root chops come in about 2/3 the way through to my ears the tone was over saturated and a bit thin. The heavy riff was fine - high gain suits well for that section. Perhaps, tweaking the EQ, adding a little delay and playing with the reverb might help to make it a bit more airy and create more space for adding strings and other electron sounds.
Another idea is to use completely different guitar settings for different parts. I did that on my latest track, even used different guitars from riff to riff just to make things sound different and a little more 'progressive'. Easiest way to do this of course is to reamp because you can tweak the tone as the track is playing and come up with some really cool sounds.
Anyway, tone is in the ear of the beholder. Good job so far on this one, let me know when you get further with it and I'll check it out.

great feedback

I actually had that in mind when I originally set out, but couldn't find a reverb'd result I was happy with. I can definitely hear it though.

huge compliments, very appreciated :)

definitely keep putting out your own music, it's great practice and it drives yourself to improve when you know others are listening
