I'm planning on buying a talkbox. I've heard that a talk box doesn't have its own power source, that the power comes from the amp. I don't have a separate amp head and speaker. My amp is a small all-in-one kind of thing. If I hook my guitar up to the amp through the input and hook the output up to the talk box, would that work? Or would I need to buy an amp head separately just as a source of power?

[EDIT] Well techinally, the amp I have now would be used just as a source of power. Well, not just as a source of power. I mean, the actual speaker wouldn't be used.
