I use cakewalk Guitar Tracks version 2 software - £50
I use a digitech Artist guitar modeling processor with a simple volume control - £120 -into the Mic input of the PC - this gives me a hum free guitar sound.
I'm still struggling to record vocals - I need a vocal pre amp mixer which i hope to aquire soon.
