Hi, i recently purchased a Squire Strat second hand and foud it had no fingerboard. There was fret in it and all just no fingerboard as such, one peice of wood for neck. Is this normal and is it a bad thing? Thanx

it's probably an all maple one piece neck.. yes this is normal for a maple neck. it's just a different sound and feel... rosewood is generally deeper and softer... where as maple is smoother and brither.
