Check out some stuff form his "Book of Shadows" album.... I love his acoustic stuff... and his "Pride and Glory" project... it's a mixture of blue grass, southern rock, and metal... it's different but I like it a lot...

his acoustic version of Stillborn is killer too...

About the session guitarist that recorded stuff for zakk... He probably laid down a rythym track and his lead tracks... then hired a session guitarist to come in and layer the sound... Meaning the session gutiarist tried to play exactly what Zakk played on the rythym track... I can't imagine Zakk hiring anyone to come in and record a whole part for a song besides Nick Catanese... That dude is just as amazing as Zakk.... And the guys name probably didn't appear on the sleeve because he didn't get any writing credits for the song... he may have just played a few barre chords that Zakk wrote out and pre recorded... but didn't have time to go into the studio and record and layer himself... this type of stuff happens all the time with touring musicians....
