Sweep picking (also know as Rake Picking) is kinda like struming a chord. But instead of struming all the strings together, you pick them one at a time without sounding the other strings. When your picking, you pick all downstrokes or all upstrokes and in a nice fluid motion.
"During this line, the kid acted like he was pushing buttons on a calculator in the air. The kid played ******* air-calculator!"
