just wanna ask.. i ussualy found keyword in guitar faqs such as riff, e minor blues solo, wat are those? ermm if its on the web perhaps u all can show me where? im a newbie here.. thxx :p :p

A riff is a short part of music or a song. For example: That intro riff from Smoke on the Water is easy to play. And E minor (Em) is the key the solo was written in, so an Em solo would sound different to a C major (C) solo.

We have a thread with a bunch of guitar related words and meanings floating around, if I could only find it :rolleyes: .
