Inspiration
Inspiration...think about that word for a minute. Inspiration can mean anything to you. It can mean a little, a lot, or nothing at all. All songwriters have it, some just don't know it. Next time you think of writing a song, think of what has inspired you lately; anything. It don't have to be big and for everyone, it needs only to be your inspiration and for you and your song. What has inspired you to the fullest usually comes to mind quickly. And not only does inpiration have to comeforth for lyrics only, it can inspire the sound of your song too.
