When I was in a working band, lo those many years ago, I just used to get onstage with whatever work clothes I had on that day. Usually, jeans and a t-shirt with big black work boots. I always wore a belt thus my guitars had these lovely belt buckle scratches on the back.

I can't ever remember going out and buying clothes especially for gigging except maybe a t-shirt that said something clever. I think I got a Dead Kennedys t shirt.

Oh well, speaking of Randy Rhoads, I had a t-shirt that was from the event that would have been Randy Rhoads last gig. I think I gigged in that shirt a couple of times. It was one of those white shirts with the 3/4 length black sleeves. I had no idea that t-shirts could become collector's items or else I would have taken better care of it. I haven't seen it in years now. May have been worth some money.
