Does any one know if it's not good to hang your guitar by the nut area?

I bought one of these wall hangers and i don't know if is recommendable to hang a heavy guitar (a les paul) like that.

I've seen them hanging like that all teh time in stores like guitar center, but i wonder if someone has had a bed experience with it, meaning if the neck will get damaged or something.

They're good, the hangers have cushion around them so your guitar wont be damaged. I have 2 also, one for my acoustic and one for my Shecter. Just make sure that when you screw them in, the screw is catching the stud. Cause if you just catch the drywall or plywood, they can loosen up (or chew out the wood) and fall out from the weight. You don't want your guitar falling from however many feet in the air do you? :p
