Yes. Thats right Steven Segal, the film....star. Has come out with a blues album.

I first heard a rumor that he was going to play the House of Blues on Chicago. Then I saw an advertisement in this months issue of Guitar World.

Has anyone heard any of the tracks? I am still having a hard time beleiving this.

check this

He can pull faces like a guitar player anyway... sad that some people lack credibility. I haven't heard any of his stuff, but I don't want to either... :D

I second that... I wonder if he's even capable of facial expressions?

I want to hear it though, just for kicks.

"and the pissed off at the world face"--

You've heard some of his playing? Would you rate it?

Steve has been listed as an endorsing artist of Budda Amps for a long time. I don't know if he still is, but it wouldn't surprise me.

His music is suprisingly good actually. It's weird. go to his website and find his new album and it gives previews of his songs. His playing isn't virtuoso, but I would rate it average to SLIGHTLY above average. take a look at this video, his new album sounds alot better/different than this. His new one is a lot of grooving blues songs, but this is the only video i could find of him performing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPJcKrQLGxE&search=steven%20seagal%20music

Don't forget Bruce Willis. I actually have one of his cd's, my bro picked it up a long time ago out of curiosity. He did blues as well.

Chinese people in a blues video... hmmmm...

Anyways... not bad. I think if it wasn't Steven Segal, it wouldn't get nearly as much hype.

He needs to use some of his Under Siege 2 money to buy a longer strap. And a pick.

And a choreographer.
... and that's all I have to say about that.

Well, it was at least way better than the Hoff's video, even though that's not saying anything. But I did get some good laughs outta that thing...Hasselhoff playing air guitar...classic!

Steven Segal has some very impressive guitar chops. He records well with outstanding tone. He can even sing in key!

Listen before you laugh.
