anyone have any experience with this amp? seems like a pretty good deal for the 120 watts you get, along with all the effects, I'm in need of a higher wattage amp because when practicing the drums tend to kind of drown out the guitar. I play mostly metal (so drop tuning alot) so would this be a good amp or no

try it first definately.....i have a crate blue voodoo, i love it but it is a tube ampnot solid state like this one......you may not like the distortion or the effects....you may get a better amp for that $$ or for a tad more. this for example http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Line-6-Spider-II-210-Combo?sku=482245 is even cheaper and probably better

It looks ok, but you don't need a 120 watt amp to play over drums, even if it's metal. I sometimes take my roland microcube with me to practice with my band, and it's only eight watts and it plays over the drums, at half volume, and my drummer plays loud.
