First Friday of every month, like we need a reason to party!

And Stampede starts today! :D So all of Calgary will definitely be in the schmange Day mood.

"kinda like" because its built around a rodeo, but the Calgary Stampede rodeo has the richest purses in North America, second in importance to the participants only to the NFR in Vegas, and Stampede is something the whole town gets into for a week-and-a-half long party.

I think Schmange Day is a great way to start it off.

Well "Happy Stampede Schmange Day"..Just for this month and year :cool:

Won't get into the "who has better dicussion" regarding Calgary rodeos and Houston Rodeos ( month long)--Sorry for the jibe but it's the whole Texas Pride thing ;)

Glad to hear you have a time of partying and fun ahead!!!

I got to get me one of those stampede "The Week" things though I'm not sure if the misses will like ! I rather suspect that if I were to put it up in the front room it would make a bad small and fall over !

Urrrp! I just finished a big plate of Steak'n'Spaghetti, and a few quarts of Rickard's Red. Now for some Pepsi & Captain Morgan Dark Rum, and some tunes, while I sit on my deck, waiting for sunset and the Stampede fireworks.... :cool:

man I haven't drank dark rum for a few years. we used to occasionally get really baked and do really stupid things after drinking Woods 100 !
