Some what like Fenderblues
I have alwasy used the thumb and index finger plus 2sd
finger to hold the pick then when doing finger,
picking i use 3sd 4th=pinky for hybrid picking double,
stops plus octave styles ect.
When i started out i was alwasy holding the pick to,
relaxed or loosely so i was alwasy droping my pick alot,
so i developed this style and it works great for me.
I found out later that a lot of great guitarests used this,
style.Also played with some great finger style,
guitarests that said they wished they had of delveloped this,style along with thier thumb picking styles.
