brandy=nasty
rum=don't make me puke
jack daniels=eww
vodka=gross

You better not!!!
Great works are performed, not by strength, but by perseverance.

I think everyone initially says the same thing... I didn't like beer when I was 17 either... but you become very aquainted with it very quickly when you go to college... I love beer now... and I love all kinds of it.

about the drunk driving... you're insane, get yourself checked asap
about the drinking, I love beer, took a while though, it was nearly untill my 16th that I started liking beer, I tried lot's of other stuff as well, though most liquors don't suit me, I do have an addiction for cocktails though :p

I think I've stated before that I no longer drink. Not because of the taste but because of the numerous mornings awaking in a puddle of yak, seeing it and yakking nonstop for the remainder of the day. I just partied myself out.

that only happened once with me, and I don't drink less because of the thought I might get sick ;) I go out once or twice a week, but I do regret the many hangovers, still it's not enough to stop me from having a nice cold beer, or 2, or 10...or 5 liters..

When I was 16 me and my friends would go through a half gallon of Jim Beam and as much beer as we could afford, usually a case sometimes two, a weekend without fail. That was during the school year. The summers I really don't remember. There wasn't ever more than 10 of us and a few didn't drink. We had drivers so we were able to get as smashed as possible. A few years of that and I had to say enough is enough.

I'm not a person that gets smashed just for fun, I drink because I like beer or other booze and I drink untill I get too wasted or sick, usually the second because I got a very strange stomach, though I rarely drink that much to get so wasted that I have to puke, even in drunky-mode I got some sense left
so that's really the only reason why I ain't an alcohol like most of my fellow students, guess I'm lucky

We were heading back to our friends (the girl) house to get back in the pool... When our friend decides he wants to see how fast his car can go................................... We weren't the only drunk drivers on the road.... even though at this point we're starting to sober up... Since we pretty much went to the bar/club to dance and see some other friends... We come around a bend in a 4 lane road at about 135 and there's a drunk driving in the middle of the road up ahead of us... so my buddy slows to 120 and gets in the left lane... the truck gets over in the right lane... assuming he's going to stay there... my friend hammers it to go around him.... the drunk swerves back into our lane.... my friend slams the breaks at 125 and we get sideways..... slide sideways for about 150 yards... then shoot into the median barrier......... none of us wearing our seatbelts. everyone is alive and okay... no DUI or anything for my buddy... everyone is banged up.... I tore my acl again (old football injury).... I was sitting in the back seat behind the driver.... annnnnnnnnnnnnnd one of my other friends totaled his car that night and is in intensive care in Chicago right now.... then the next night another friend of mine totaled her sisters car...... so. bad weekend. I still got really drunk the rest of the weekend though........
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GET A CAB!
Where does god factor in here? Sounds like sheer dumbassery is to blame for the slap in the face.

I tried to get drunk... it didn't work, I just couldn't stand the stuff, and it all tasted pretty much the same. (rum, brandy, and a couple other kinds of liquer) I haven't had beer in quite a long time. I think I had beer when I was like 13, maybe 12.. ha ha. my mom was semi-drunk, and I asked her to pass me a beer... surprisingly she did, I took a sip, hated it, and handed the rest of the bottle back to her. haven't had any since. who knows, maybe I'd like it if I tried it now.

Yeah... well... I was never trying to defend the decision I made...
The whole "God" thing was pretty much a figure of speech... I don't believe in Devine Intervention or any of that...

I can just hear that part from "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas."
*Coke blows away*
"Did you see what God just did to us man!"
Classic.
Sorry just reminded me of that.

I was reminded of the part in Pulp Fiction where they almost get killed and Sam Jackson goes on the big rant about devine intervention and how they didn't get shot... haha.
