I got slapped in the face by god this weekend.......... pretty hard.

Me and some buddies (2 other guys one girl) had a pool party and drank all day... killed a case a piece.... Then went to the bars... and on our way back from the bars we were riding in one of my friends 2001 Trans Am... and..... yeah.... it was about 3 or so in the morning. We were heading back to our friends (the girl) house to get back in the pool... When our friend decides he wants to see how fast his car can go................................... We weren't the only drunk drivers on the road.... even though at this point we're starting to sober up... Since we pretty much went to the bar/club to dance and see some other friends... We come around a bend in a 4 lane road at about 135 and there's a drunk driving in the middle of the road up ahead of us... so my buddy slows to 120 and gets in the left lane... the truck gets over in the right lane... assuming he's going to stay there... my friend hammers it to go around him.... the drunk swerves back into our lane.... my friend slams the breaks at 125 and we get sideways..... slide sideways for about 150 yards... then shoot into the median barrier......... none of us wearing our seatbelts. everyone is alive and okay... no DUI or anything for my buddy... everyone is banged up.... I tore my acl again (old football injury).... I was sitting in the back seat behind the driver.... annnnnnnnnnnnnnd one of my other friends totaled his car that night and is in intensive care in Chicago right now.... then the next night another friend of mine totaled her sisters car...... so. bad weekend. I still got really drunk the rest of the weekend though........

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

definately don't drink and drive! i don't drink at all if i don't have too, have more fun hangin out with drunk ppl, or getting high.

I agree with the sad part, I hate watching people do studpid stuff when drunk...especially girls...and even more so if its sexually degrading and so on...but we all know I have pretty conservativ views on that subject

NEVER drink and drive... And I am no beginner in drinking... It has been documented by my friends that recently i drunk 24 beers from 8 p.m. till bout 8 a.m. That"s half liter beers.Anyhow, a sad story this is, but i feel i must share it with you people, for, there is although a painfull, moral in it. I have this great friend. He used to play bass with me, he also plays sax. A year ago
he and this other friend, who plays trombon, went from a rehearsal. decided to stop for a drink. Called me, but my battery was out. Well, they had more than a few. And the trombone guy got this new car like a week ago, speedy little japanese honda.So, he wanted to try it out. They crashed. Big time. The trombone guy was driving, and he went without a scratch. The other fell out of the car. Now, a year after, he is still in a wheelchair. They say he will recover. But it will take years. He can"t have a drink alone, wipe his nose, anything. He can move his head and wiggle a bit with toes and fingers. It is kinda hard for me to write about this, cause he is one of my best buddies. I used to sleep over in his house when i"d get pissed drunk with his dad. But I hope you will get what i mean. I am all for drinking. But think twice about sitting behind the wheel.
Especially if you are going to drive fast.

Ya it's pretty sad when this has to happen to people before they decide to stop. It's such a retarded thing to do and becomes a lot less cool when some little kid gets run over. Sorry but it does.

Damn I hope you and your friends grow up, and learn how to be more mature and responsible. geeze!

It makes me sick to know that people like that are allowed to have a license to drive. :mad:
