he he.... happens to me all the time. I 'write' a killer riff, play it to my bandmates or friends or whatever, and one of them will say 'oh yeah, that's......', and then I realise I've nicked someone else's song. Usually, it changes a bit, but now and again it's been note for note and I hadn't placed it!
