I was told the only person in the crowd not loving it, was the lead guitarist, as I was getting more applause than him. Dunno if that's true, but he was just a fill-in himself (their usual lead guy was out of town). I'm definitely not the kinda guy to think I'm better than anyone, and watching him later that night he was definitely good. They also told me the rest of the band was kinda staring in shock at first.
Oh yeah, funny thing is my wife was one of the very few people at the whole party who missed the whole thing. She cried, but she was a quite tipsy too. :D
