Hi I was just wondering has anyone tried out This guitar fretboard site. I'm really not sure whether I should spend £6.85 on it, so I was just wondering if anyone here knows if it works. If not I might buy it anyway and if its crap get my money back.
Thanks.

i havent tried it myself, but i am always sceptical about this master the fret boar in 60 minuets thing. it like when those people say learn to play guitar in a week. it just doesnt work that way.

i dunno it may be possible but i would be suprised

Not sure what it is, but at a guess it'll either be:

1) A way to remember the order of the notes wrapping around the neck like the 'master the fretboard in 30 seconds' products do. Not really worthwhile.

2) An 'absolute fretboard trainer' style piece of software that tests your knowledge of the neck.

At £6.85, does it matter? If you're curious, take a look. It's probably a waste of time but for a few quid it might be worth a go.... I've fallen for some crap in my time  but hey..... it's the only way to learn...

Hi, thanks for your advice. I went ahead and bought it, curiosity over came me. I have to say its not bad at all, its a really neat way of learning the notes. It took me a little over the hour that it was supposed to but it definately worked.

It illustrates different ways to memorise where the different notes on the fretboard are, there also some patterns that you can learn to do this. The site owner also just updated the bonus gifts so you can get something like this for 50%. Don't know if I would buy it purely for that however the 23,000 tabs are pretty decent, been able to learn all my favourite songs with them.
