Welcome...
Yea, that's it really - everyone's nice enough, friendly, helpful, occasionally intelligent (hehe). You'll have a nice to here, so just relax!
Don't worry too much about me, ignore me long enough and I'll go away.

Hello Vertigo! I just read your message in the 'Guitar Basics' forum and found out you just started playing guitar from yesterday. Welcome aboard to the very addictive and rewarding world of guitar.
Yes, you've made the right decision to pick up that guitar and I hope you enjoy the ride. I know I am!

Welcome Vertigo, I hope you enjoy this place its a great resource for a beginner and for the advanced. I hope you stick with guitar for a while or forever so the forum can get to know you. Oh and by the way every once in a while this place can get kind of boring but please don't tell schmange (the host, hes really cool) i said that! He'll whoop out some of his star trek combat and kick my butt. LOL!

Hey Vertigo, just remember that it's important to maintain your enthusiasm with this instrument at all costs. And trust me, after a while you'll start to baby your guitar more than your girlfriend, and of course she'll get jealous, just be sure to give them both separate pet names. And always keep an egg beater in your pocket, in case of emergencies...

But i'm not really an absolute beginner...

i've been playing guitar for half a year orso.
But i never wrote anything before, so that is brandnew for me...

Check it out in the metal section, let me know what you think of it. :)
